In childhood I was exploring my environment. Now that I am older, painting has shown to be an interesting way to explore my childhood. My father was born and raised in Bell Island. I realize now that the time I spent there as a young boy was quite a period of formation. I hope you enjoy these paintings as I reimagine Bell Island and explore how this unique community has impacted me and so many others.
